My Baby's Gone - Finney-Mo
Leslie Finney II, was born in New Orleans on October 29, 1929. Finney relocated to Dallas where he was a well known singer and comedian on the Dallas & Fort Worth club scene in the 1950's & 60's. Finney recorded several singles for small local labels such as Duchess, Rainbow, and Dello. He passed away sometime in the 1980's. “To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson If you support live Blues acts, up and coming Blues talents and want to learn more about Blues news and Fathers of the Blues, Like ---Bman’s Blues Report--- Facebook Page!
