Alfredo Barranco heralds from Venezuela and is considered one of the top ten harmonica players in the world. "Street Blues", penned by Alfredo, became a number 4 hit on the South American charts. After success in his native country, Alfredo brought his smokin rifts to America and had a small nomination at the 1999 Handy Music Award in Memphis, TN. With each riveting performance, Alfredo proves why he is so honored. His American tour began with The Sonny Boy Williamson Tribute during which he performed with such guests as Sugar Blue, Lee Oskar, Rockin' Jake, Jumpin' Johnny Samson, Blind Mississippi Morris, and Arthur Williams. He went on to rock Florida's House of Blues with Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones and then dominated the stage of the famous Tobacco Road, and toured Florida with the Joey Gilmore Band.
